“Damn! I wish I’d thought of that!”
I know, its a classic but it still pops up in one form or another when we see a great idea.
The same could be said when you are trying to build a company or a brand. “I wish I could come up with the idea of the century.” And off you go on that quest for the unknown when what you should really be doing is focusing. Focus is key.
It forces us to make choices. Hard ones in easy times and gut wrenching ones when we question what we are trying to achieve.
"It took me over 25 years to realize that what I was really good at and loved was building brands.” The lesson here is simple: Follow your instinct, your heart and your passion. Stay true to your values and be patient."
"You can build a house in just about a year’s time but being the architect of your own brand is a lifetime’s achivement in the making.”
